Commissions
Working with Froe
Ellis and Andrew (whether in collaboration or individually) welcome bespoke commissions of all kinds and love crafting one-of-a-kind pieces for domestic and commercial spaces.
Whether it’s a statement chair to “pop” your living room, a cabinet for keenly collected curios or a garden sculpture, if you would like to discuss an idea - even one that’s in that super-early half-baked fuzzy formative-notion stage - then please get in touch. Details on the commissioning process can be found below.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Our Process
1.0 Conversation
It all starts with a simple chat. Whether through a phone/video call or visit to the workshop, we’ll discuss your ideas, requirements, budget and timeframe. This is free and you are under no pressure to continue if things don’t feel right.
2.0 Design
Things start to take shape. Based on what’s been discussed, we will create a series of initial sketches, samples or mood boards. In discussion, we will develop these into a clear concept and design direction to follow. We will then create a detailed proposal - with technical drawings, dimensions and material samples etc. - for you to approve. A paid deposit is taken at this stage.
3.0 Make (exciting bit)
Sustainable materials will be sourced and then your piece will be made with care and consideration in our fully equipped workshop. You will be kept updated as the work progresses and will be consulted if and when design decisions arise.
4.0 Delivery
With full payment received, we or a trusted courier service (depending on your location) will safely deliver your completed piece. You will be provided with care and maintenance advice before we leave you to use, enjoy and cherish whatever it is we’ve made together.
